Is it possible to use folder action scripts to retrieve info from a the source of a copied file ? Meaning I copy a file from A to folder B (holding a folder action script) and would like to display a dialog with the path of the file’s A location. Impossible, right ?

So far as I can tell; it is not possible.  By the time the folder action runs, the file is in the new folder, and the information about where it came from is gone.
