It may be possible with "GUI Scripting" <http://www.apple.com/ applescript/uiscripting/>. It can take some work to figure out the right "path" down the hierarchy of controls to find the right item to click, but I believe it's possible.

Hi.

Ok, here's my issue.. my music composition program, Logic, does not offer any
batch conversions for samples in different formats. However, it can convert
them one at a time, 10-15 seconds for each one... And a click of the "+" (next
instrument button).

so I am wondering, is there a way I can position my mouse cursor on the +
button in logic.. Apple-tab over to my script and have it start with a display
dialog -- so I can just hit return to begin. It will then tell Logic Pro to
"click" the mouse-- wait 15 seconds... "click the mouse" again ? and repeat
100 times?

Is this do-able?
