ACL enabling

  • Subject: ACL enabling

I have to make (database) files accessible for different OS-users. Because the database creates temp-files I use ACL access control lists to set their file-attributes.
My problem is that ACLs have to be enabled for the filesystem on the command line. I can tell my users to do this, but if they fail or do not read my info texts, access is denied after another user has accessed the database. The installing user can't access the database then either. If I could integrate an applescript that enables the ACLs this would help a lot.
