I've never had rsync crash while using the -E option. Offhand I would say
all these nebbishes haven't studied the rsync manpage very well. It's a very
powerful command with a lot of options and mastering the tool takes weeks of
study.

I read some of those negative reviews of rsync and pretty much scoff,
although I did report earlier here that I have a problem copying Mac
resource files to a DOS disk.

Also, do you suppose you can respond to some text? It's like being blind
responding to such vague and nebulous allegations.
