Not true, I have never used rsync with a nonejectable volume except to
experiment with how it behaves. All my rsync has been with ethernet,
Firewire or WiFi mounted disks.

 Despite all this pro-rsync rhetoric, I realize many people have already
decided they don't like the tool and spontaneously turn into an arguebot
when you so much as mention the word. If the idea of a usable rsync offends
you feel free to not even respond to this post.
