Can I just say that it's really reassuring to have someone like Dave Lyons listening and responding to issues on this talk list - one feels that maybe AppleScript is sorta important to Apple after all. This is probably just a perception thing but given Apple's whole raison d'etre, they'll understand where I'm coming from here.

And this is not to ignore Chris Nebel's invaluable contributions and efforts on this list - it's just that I got the feeling that his was a lone voice in a wilderness.

OK. Enough. I'm off for another coffee in an attempt to return to my normal, obnoxious self :-)
