Thanks, Simon. And, for the record, when I have AppleScript
questions while working on Finder scripting, I go to Chris Nebel.
I'm glad I joined the list (only ~5 weeks ago). Already, discussions
started here resulted in scripting improvements for a future version
of Finder, several good Radar bugs being filed, and an apparent
Finder bug turning out to be a 3rd-party-product issue instead.
I'll be out of the office for a few days, until Thursday the 29th.
(However, I won't be setting my email to auto-vacation-reply to every
mailing list topic.)
Cheers,

Can I just say that it's really reassuring to have someone like
Dave Lyons listening and responding to issues on this talk list -
one feels that maybe AppleScript is sorta important to Apple after
all. This is probably just a perception thing but given Apple's
whole raison d'etre, they'll understand where I'm coming from here.
And this is not to ignore Chris Nebel's invaluable contributions
and efforts on this list - it's just that I got the feeling that
his was a lone voice in a wilderness.
OK. Enough. I'm off for another coffee in an attempt to return to
my normal, obnoxious self :-)
