Right you are, Michelle. So, I then tried saving it as a read-only
application bundle. Then I was able to view the package contents.
Script editor refused to read the script component (main.scpt).
TextWrangler would open main.scpt, but it was mostly unreadable.
Perhaps Script Editor saves scripts with some form of compression.
At any rate, it would probably take someone with a deep
understanding of how Script Editor saves documents to figure out
how to retrieve a script from that random-looking text.
You can't retrieve the script - but you can remind yourself of the
script structure, variable names and comments using the Terminal:
strings -n 3 -o /path/to/your/run-only.scpt

Martin, I tried running the command above and got the following:
-->
__dyld_mod_term_funcs
__dyld_make_delayed_module_initializer_calls
The kernel support for the dynamic linker is not present to run this
program.

I have the whole installation plus developer, what gives?
