Well, I think the run-only format is highly helpful if people want to
protect their intellectual work or stop people from tampering with the
code of their scripts if the circumstances required it.
The Extra Suites ad-on requires you to save as run-only if you are
distributing it to non-registered people.
If (though extremely unlikely) companies hired me to write scripts for
them I might be tempted to supply them as run only so that future work
would need to come back to me or so they didn't hack about and change the
script and possibly end up breaking their workflow and then try to pin it
on my script.
Personally I avoid using run-only (except when using the Extra Suites).
Just a thought.

Same here. It's a headache waiting to happen. The format should be
outlawed.
