Probably the fact that I use Script Debugger which "exports" a new
copy as
Run Only and the fact that the Run-Only versions naturally have their
own
folder, so they never ever will overwrite the original, helps in
making this
procedure totally problem-free...

Run-only scripts have one feature, the code is not accessible for
reading or editing. The run-only version allows you to pass your
application/scripts to other people knowing that they aren't able to
modify the code.
Any other advantages?
