Thank you very much for the help. It appears that my script is working now. The link was an interesting read. I have a question with regards to login/logout hooks. This is the first time I'm going to try one of these, and I was wondering what the best way to save an AppleScript would be to use it? I'm leaning towards saving it as an application, with the "Run Only" box checked, but I was wondering what you and others on the list think. Any gotcha's I should watch out for?

If you save it with the run-only box checked, you will not be able to edit it. If it is going to be a log-in or log-out item, then saving it as an application is the way to go.
