Durations of mp3 files?
Durations of mp3 files?

I often want to quickly check the durations of a bunch of MP3 files
that aren't part of my main iTunes library.
The Properties dialog has 'Duration' as one of its details, but this
doesn't seem to appear in 'info for'
Is there a way to get this information so that I can make a droplet
that doesn't involve iTunes, but picks up the durations for each file
and adds them together? On the face of it, this could be a really
simple operation and not involve copying each bunch of files into the
iTunes library and deleting them after checking their length.
(Feels as if this ought to be a context-menu thing I could add to
Finder, but I don't know if it's even possible to do that, and I'd be
satisfied with a droplet that would work a lot faster than adding the
files to iTunes and looking there)
Regards, Ruth
