When working, there should an Applescript icon visible in the menu bar and the script should be in that menu, right?
I checked the final path of the script "ReplaceText.scpt" with an Applescript applet "Path".

Who is going to solve this puzzle?
It sounds like you're under the impression that simply putting the Folder in the right place will cause the Script menu to appear. It won't. You have to install the script menu. Look in
/Applications/AppleScript/
You should see an "Install Script Menu" item.
