It's not really a threat because it's got some bugs. Just because it
requires a bit of social engineering doesn't make it not dangerous. When was
the last time you saw a majority of Mac users demand the creator of their
software explain in detail why an administrator password was needed? Doesn't
happen. You can ask for passwords for no reason at all and, because Apple
and other ISV's have trained Mac users to always enter a password when the
nice box asks for one, you'll get them.
The Mac user community is so ripe for a trojan, it's not even funny.
