scripting Apple mail

  • Subject: scripting Apple mail

I am scripting an attachment to mail. If I use the path name

/users/me/desktop/abc.pdf

the attachment function works fine

If, however, I use the path name

Macintosh HD/users/me/desktop/abc.pdf

the attachment never is attached.

What am I missing here? Shouldnt an absolute path name name work as well? Is this a function of where "mail.app" is located?

Thanks

Bob Cuilla
