I scan documents with my HP scanner
the files are PDF files which have the ADOBE icon
and the files are huge no less than 1 MB for 1 page
when I open the file in viewer and print as PDF
the new file; exactly the same as the original - same quality
etc etc; is about 50 - 100 KB
this task however is laborous and should be scripted
any ideas as to how to proceed ?
a droplet would be my start
open the pdf file with viewer
print as pdf to location x
