Get real. 10.4 works fine and has many improvements and fixes over 10.3. Advising people to avod it is akin to recommending that they stick with 6.0.4 because it's faster.
I've been running 10.4 on a bunch of machines and it works without a problem here. And you know I've seen a bunch of Apple OSes...
