Just thought of another related problem that might be solved with UTIs

Is there a NULL type identifier? If so, I want to try setting, perhaps, CFPlugInTypes in my application's info.plist to null to see if that will kill the Add button in the application's Plug-ins panel in the Info window. (May not work, but worth a try.)
