Depends what you mean by "advanced scripting"; might want to clarify.
If you're looking to improve your technical knowledge of the AppleScript language itself, get Matt Neuburg's book, 'AppleScript: The Definitive Guide' (2nd edition).
If you're looking for more information on scripting high-end apps like InDesign and Quark, I'm sure there's folk here who can point you to the literature on those; I'm not sure what's current myself.
If AppleScript is your first language and you're looking to improve your general programming skills, learn new techniques like OOP, etc. then you'll need to look to the general programming literature. I'd recommend Steve McConnell's 'Code Complete' as the one to start on; it's very easy to read and each topic stands by itself so you can just jump yo the chapters you're interested in as-and-when you need to read up on something. You might also consider learning a second language; getting some exposure to other languages is a great way to expand both knowledge and understanding of many programming concepts and techniques, and will make you a better scripter all-round.
