In my experience, we had automated apps periodically upload stuff with URLAS under Jaguar then Panther, and our scripts had to kill and relaunch URLAS from time to time - specially when a temporary connection problem occurred.


Using 'curl' instead made our scripts shorter and the whole thing finally more reliable.
