Can you not save them from the script itself? Is there no way to refer to
the front window being worked on, and save it? Then you know you'd be
getting the up-to-date text as well.

I've never tried. I'm about to leave the house now, and won't be back until sometime tomorrow, so I don't have time to try now.


Perhaps "save the front window in the drafts mailbox" might work.
