I'm no lawyer, but this is what the license agreements that come with most
software say these days. But there can be exceptions -- for example, some
vendors are happy as long as the ultimate users are also licensed.

It may also depend on how the scripts are triggered. If an operator at the
computer triggers them by clicking a button, they may well be considered run
by the operator and not a server operation.
Read the license, and consult the company and/or a lawyer if you're still
unsure.
