Thanks for the suggestion. I tried that (and learnt a lot in the process!) but the script seems to get stuck when a second dialog pops up (asking about transparency settings) - annoyingly there doesn't seem to be any way of getting past this other than by physically clicking the "OK" box At the moment I'm doing this via UI Scripting, so it gets the job done but, as discussed, it's a bit of a bodge!
