In a new thread asking about the use of AppleScript XML tools (specifically
"XMLLib.osax" by Satimage Software) "Vincent Niehaus" asked:

>> Do you think could there is any way you XMLLib.osax could be use for the JDF
>> to retrieve info for the JDF standard?

As part of a reply indicating that the Satimage tool was appropriate and
useful, I also wrote:

> Yes, XML Lib, in its raw form or in the form of the Satimage XMLLib.osax
> (which uses XML Lib) is useful to you

This information is not very specific and is therefore meaningless at best.

To correct that unintentionally vague information, please note that I should
have written:

<correction>

Yes, any XML library or tool is useful to manipulate JDF (which is XML).
One such XML library is 'libxml2'. This is, exactly (including the digit),
the underlying XML library used by the Satimage XMLLib.osax.

</correction>

Please pardon the lack of clarity and accuracy.
