Or use:
tell app "Finder" to set theDisplayedName to displayed name of FooFolder
Displayed name is also a property of the Finder's Item class. Then your if
statement becomes:
If theDisplayedName is foo_foldername
display dialog "Folder's name matches " & displayed name of theInfo
else
display dialog "Folder's name doesn't match: " & displayed name of theInfo
end if
