Q: FireFox Close Window?

  • Subject: Q: FireFox Close Window?

I know FireFox has a very weak dictionary (weakest I've ever seen), but I would expect it would at least support the standard windowing commands (argg!).

To minimize the issue at hand to just the relevant issues, does anyone know how to tell FireFox to close either the front window or all windows, without quitting the app?

Tell application "Firefox"
    activate
close every window -- this doesn't work
end tell

I tried using the javascript window.close() event within, but I can't seem to format it right to work either...

Any help appreciated
