You haven't looked at very many free cross-platform apps, then?  It's
amazing that it has a dictionary at all, or that it's a native Cocoa
app instead of an X11 one. :)

Doesn't look like it.  You can get a reference to window 1, but that
window doesn't seem to respond to the close command.  I wouldn't be
surprised if this were a side effect of precautions taken in the
browser to keep malicious javascript on web pages from closing
windows.  Calling window.close() only works on windows that were
originally opened via Javascript, for instance.
