Why not open every .cwk file in AW 6, make that small change, and
save it?

Awww. Too easy. I'm gonna try Yvan Koenig's solution tho. It makes me feel
more warm and fuzzy. Thanks anyway!

If I had seen it before writing my answer, I wouldn't have written it. <g>

Don't worry

My proposal rely on non-documented feature.
In every AW documents,
bytes 9, 10, 11 describe the app which created the doc.
bytes 1, 2, 3 describe the app which edited the doc.
Bytes 5 thru 8 contain the signature "BOBO".

For instance, a doc created today with AW 5.0.3 starts with
$ 05 07 AD 00 42 4F 42 4F 05 07 AD.
(creator and editor are the same app)

The same file edited today with AW 6.2.9 starts with
$ 06 07 E1 00 42 4F 42 4F 05 07 AD.

Bytes 1 and 9 describe the app's main vernum
Bytes 3 and 11 describe the app's secondary vernum (and maybe more infos)

I never deciphered the contents of bytes 3 and 11, knowing that they are secondary vernum flags was sufficient for my needs.
