An additional comment and question ...
In addition to .plist files, there are other file type extensions
which are xml files.
.xml - this seems to be a general purpose xml file.
.savedSearch - I know these are called "Smart Folders", but they are
just xml files. I haved used this to write searches via AppleScript
that you just can't do manually.
Question: Are there other file extensions that indicate an xml
structure and, if so, what are they?
(I've looked, but haven't yet found any others. I suspect they exist.)
