Ahhh... it does help. Script Debugger is too much software, at this point. [Read: too expensive.]

I script once in a while, to do something I find I'm doing over and over. I'm not really a programmer. (You may have guessed.)

In the meantime, I suggest using Script Debugger. Here's its dictionary
display of the date class


date
date (noun), pl dates: Absolute date and time values
properties
Property Access Type Description
date string get string the date portion of a date-time value as
text
day get integer the day of the month of a date
month get month the month of a date
short date string get string the date portion of a date- time value
as text
time get integer the time since midnight of a date
time string get string the time portion of a date-time value as
text
weekday get weekday the day of a week of a date
year get integer the year of a date


where used
The date class is used in the following ways:
result of current date command
result of date offset command
direct parameter to the date offset command/event
direct parameter to the day of week command/event
direct parameter to the date items command/event
after parameter of the backup command/event
creation date property of the file information class/record
ending parameter of the date interval command/event
modification date property of the file information class/record
starting parameter of the date interval command/event
