Ahhh... it does help. Script Debugger is too much software, at this
point. [Read: too expensive.]
I script once in a while, to do something I find I'm doing over and
over. I'm not really a programmer. (You may have guessed.)

In the meantime, I suggest using Script Debugger. Here's its

modification date property of the file information class/record
