I should warn folks to not get too attached to the isot "class", because it's not a real class at all, nor is it part of AppleScript as such. It's a system coercion handler that happens to be there as part of the Web Services framework. AppleScript has an interesting [1] property that it lets you use whatever Apple event coercion and event handlers happen to be lying around, but the "isot" coercion has never been documented and is not officially supported in AppleScript. In other words, use at your own risk.

[1] That's "interesting" in the Chinese curse sense. It lets you do some useful things, but it's hell for maintenance.
