Actually, it is a trivial matter; check out the script that I posted here. Nothing is deleted and nothing is created; the event is simply moved from one calendar to another.


It is impossible to perfectly
create the events on a new calendar because some aspects just can't be
scripted (attendees, some aspects of alarms). Furthermore, there are quirks
in the way event IDs work (not to mention compatibility problems between
Leopard and Tiger) that make it so it is hard to reliably delete the old
events on the old calendar.

My script moves attendees, alarms, attachments, URLs, comments, etc. without any problems.


CaliBrate does a lot more, of course, but simply moving an event really is trivial.
