Detecting print job - Multiple printers

  • Subject: Detecting print job - Multiple printers

Hi all,
I need to run a script when a print job is requested. My thinking was to apply a folder action to the appropriate print folder. Is this possible and which folder to attach the folder action to? We have multiple networked printers (different makes & models) and I would like to fire a separate script for each of the printers. The scripts will just display a simple message in a dialog.

If there is another way to do this please let me know. I'm not locked into any method - I just need it to work.

Thanks,
Craig
