1. You can now copy and paste field definitions, table definitions, and
scripts.

2. The clipboard format is XML and several free and commercial utilities are
available which read, manipulate, and write these formats.

3. Thus you can store the defintions externally such as in FileMaker data,
then quickly copy and paste them.

But what is it that you are actually trying to do? What's the payoff? Why
does  this matter?
