I was afraid of that. Thanks for the input. I suppose I'll bite the bullet
and just write the preference to a file. It just seems like overkill for a
simple little utility...

I've not dealt with plist files before. Are there good examples of creating,
writing to, and reading from one? What's the difference between that and
just any text file?
