Philip;

It is more than a bit frustrating when you upgrade software and your scripts break. The FileMaker 6->7 transition was decidedly the most painful, although that was true of FileMaker scripts as well as AppleScript. And FileMaker probably has one of the best documented AppleScripts out there.

This is a huge problem for programmers, authors, and scriptors alike.

We get upgrades for many things in the OS, but I've never seen script upgrade facility included.
