Prevent user input question

  • Subject: Prevent user input question
  • From: Oakley Masten <email@hidden>
  • Date: Thu, 1 Nov 2007 12:54:32 -0700 (PDT)

OS9 did not actually multitask - BUT since OSX does -
users are impatient and want to do other things while
a script is running. Sometimes this causes trouble
with the accuracy of the process. [You all know what I
mean - "Why can't I have every program on my computer
open and still have it work perfectly and FAST?]

Is there an easy and safe way to prevent an operator
from inputting keyboard and mouse data until the
completion of a script?

What kind of problems would have to be dealt with if I
were to do so?

Is this even work considering?

Thanks
Oakley
