Installed now and working like it should.
The Readme doesn't mention anything about Unicode problems in Leopard
- and I heard from somebody else that 3.1.1 is working fine in the new
OS for them - so it may be that something broke during the *upgrade*
installation of the OS that I did on this Mac...
