Title: Re: Eject in Leopard  (Jay Louvion)
On 09.11.2007 21:43, "Andrew" <email@hidden> spake thus:

My scripts that use "Eject" stopped working in Tiger.

I now use this code, which works in Tiger and Leopard:

do shell script "/usr/sbin/diskutil eject /Volumes/[VOLUME NAME]"

Mmh... Okay, surprising it was broken in Tiger for you – it’s only in Leopard it went belly up for me. It’s an okay solution, but boy does it take time (about 5 seconds) for the script to eject the Volume.

Anyone else tried the eject command ?

Best,
