Hmmm, this may not be confined to AppleScript and may not be confined to
those date ranges.

Well, it doesn't happen in the year 999 or the year 1100. I tried a few other dates at random, and got the right answers.


I just got a hard copy proof from an Excel document that had date fields off
by six days, while the day of week was correct.


Interesting. What was the formula? I'll see whether I can reproduce it in Numbers.
