Tabs in Quark

  • Subject: Tabs in Quark
  • From: David Bradley <email@hidden>

Hi,

Could anyone give me some assistance in the syntax for creating and using tabs in Quark.

I have a text box which has 4 paragraphs and in the 4th paragraph I want to put in some text then put in a tab so that the next piece of text appears at the other end of the textbox.

Hope this makes sense.

Cheers

Hi David,

Try this for creating a rule.

Regards,

Nick

tell application "QuarkXPress"
tell document 1
tell paragraph 1 of text box "textBox1"
set properties to {rule below:{left indent:"0 pt", right indent:"0 pt", width:"4 pt", position:"20 pt", rule on:true, color:"black", shade:"50%", style:solid line}}
end tell
end tell
end tell
