That is pretty clearly a byte order bug. Some code is not adjusting dyslexic machine ordering appropriately when going to the net.
eppc could go to cppe (Microsoft 32 bit conventions) or. . .
eppc could go to pecp (Sun Solaris conventions)
Do you put your books on the shelf with the last page of volume 1 adjacent to the first page of volume 2?
