IOW, if Xcode (with ~100 developers on the team), can't get its new improved AppleScript together, be prepared to see a lot of those "Descriptive Error Messages" because basically, AppleScript as we knew it has been sucker-punched by the Cocoamites.
The response will be some blathering about how weird AppleScript is and why you’re lucky it’s in Xcode at all. Hence why I have already set aside money for FaceSpan 5, and why I live in Script Debugger. Life is too short to use development tools designed by people who don’t care about my needs in the least.
If it means I have to pay to get a proper toolset, then so be it, I shall, and happily.
