Watermark PDF - visible when printed

Greetings,

I am searching for a way to automatically apply a watermark to PDFs that
will be invisible when viewed in Acrobat, but will appear when printed.
Acrobat will do this via a batch sequence, but seems to still require manual
execution of the process. Is it possible to invoke this command using
Applescript? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
