I'm still poking this with a sharp stick ...
I can avoid the -15266 error by creating the application bundle at its
final destination. Creating the bundle in Temporary Items, then moving
it to the final destination was done to get the icon to display in
Tiger. This seems not to be a problem in Leopard.
But the application bundles I create now simply say "Could not run
this script because of a program error." -5000 when I try to launch.
In other words, DOA.
I know the handler that's causing this problem, but it's going to take
awhile to dig thru all the steps to find the bad one. This is the
handler that goes into the new bundle and changes names of files and
writes to the Info.plist file. Leopard does not like something that
was required, or at least desirable, in Tiger.
