As near as I can tell "AppleScript Studio" is some kind of sadistic joke.
I finally found and installed "Xcode" although there was no mention of "AppleScript Studio" anywhere in it.
Looking of Google there are many thousands of pages. Most are many years old and, for example tell me to go to xcode tools and open "Project Builder", which doesn't exist. Nor can I find it with Spotlight.
I finally found A fairly recent MacScripter page http://macscripter.net/articles/439_0_10_0_C/ which starts out with " When developers first hear the name AppleScript Studio, they often mistake it for an actual application. However, this is not the case".
This Page (updated March 2008) looked promising till I got down to the paragraph "Interface elements are contained within a palette window. To bring up this window if it is not already visible, select Show Palettes from the Tools > Palettes menu".
There is NO PALETTES sub menu under Tools.
So much for the "easy way" to create "Choose from list".

Use AppleScript Studio, it's a better ride because you can always stoop to Cocoa if there's a problem :-) Philip Aker echo email@hidden@nl | tr a-z@. p-za-o.@ Sent from my SE/30
