Is there a way to access a podcast track's release date?

Take a look at your podcast tracks in iTunes. They have a release date (iTunes 7.6.2). If I look into the iTunes Music Library.xml, I see the <key>Release date</key> but I can't find a way to access this using AppleScript.

Do I need to update to iTunes 7.7.1 to get them? Are the foreign character problems fixed in 7.7,1?
