Applescript that compares two directories.

I'm having 2 directories with almost same list of files, subfolders, subsub folders etc....
I would like to make a list of files/folders after comparing them.

For that I am using "file type" which returns the type of file.
But for some files like Info.plist it is returning "msng" (missing type), and for NIB file which has some more files, it is returning as file instead of folder..

I tried googling to find such a script. But couldn't.
Can some one help me with some apple script which compares two directories?

Regards,
Satya
