Interesting ... when I use an alias inside a Dock folder I don't get any hierarchical menus :-/

And, of course, I immediately tested this in 10.5.5. You're right! The Dock does not follow folder aliases into a hierarchical menu. Very nice. So where did I see those horrible hierarchical menus?


Tiger? Maybe, but I'm not going to test that today.

DragThing? So, I tested that and there they are ... hierarchical menus. And ugly too.
I looked at DragThing's preferences, but could not find any way to turn-off hierarchical menus. I'll have to send them a bug report first thing tomorrow.
