Finder: 'clipping window'

  • Subject: Finder: 'clipping window'

The Finder dictionaries in both Jaguar and Tiger list an element called a
'clipping window' (not to be confused with the 'clipping window' property
of a 'clipping', marked as 'not available yet'), which compiles using the
same class code on both systems. It can successfully be used to refer to
an open clipping window in Jaguar, but errors in Tiger and, I'm told,
Leopard. The class of a Tiger clipping window is returned simply as 'window'.

Is this an aberration or a deliberate change?

NG
